Experience/Certification Required:

• Requirements for the job include but are not limited to the following:
• Skilled at preparing, forming, and pouring concrete
• Skilled at pouring concrete
• Efficient in Blueprint reading
• Operate Heavy Equipment
• Assist in framing of buildings
• Ability to work with Sub Contractors
• CDL a plus but not required
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Homan Inc. is currrently looking for an Engineering & CAD Technician position within the production agricultural field. The Engineer/ CAD Technician will use CAD, collect field data, assist with project scopes and estimating quantities.

Responsibilities

• Using CAD software, create conceptual construction plans for livestock facilities and waste systems
• Collect field data and site measurements
• Complete basic designs of lumber and steel framed buildings under the direction of other Engineers
• Work with Estimator to compute material quantities and cost estimates
• Assiste salesmen in writing scopes of work and present projects to customers
• Assits project construction foreman with job layout and staking of buildings

Requirements for the job include but are not limited to:

• Must know operation of AutoCAD software, Excel, spreadsheets and other MS Office programs
• Knowledge of basic survey equipment and willingness to learn use of robotic total station and GPS equipment
• An associate's degree in engineering technology and CAD and/or comparable work experience showing the needed skills of job
• Must have valid driver's license in order to travel to and from job sites
• Pysically capable to walk and climb rough terrain of construction sites and work outside in all weather conditions for a period of time

Homan Inc. is currently looking for a Controls Service Technician for our livestock equipment division.  The Controls Service Technician diagnoses and performs mechanical and electrical repairs, and assembles equipment for the company and its customers.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to inspect, install, commission, test, calibrate, repair and train customers on the operation of automated animal confinement control systems for feed, ventilation, grain and manure systems.

• Collaborate with site Electricians to configure and install VFD and network controls to barn equipment.

• Troubleshoot site internet networks to integrate barn controls systems. 

• Attend on-going vendor training programs to keep up to date on the latest in controls technology.

Requirements for the job include but are not limited to the following: 

• Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service electrical equipment such as VFDs and barn control systems.

• Controls and Electrical background required

• Agricultural Mechanical background plus, but not required

• Complete all work orders and time sheets in a legible, accurate, and timely manner

• Ability to work in livestock confinement environments

• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities: 

• Provide service and customer support during field visits to agriculture facilities
• Manage all on site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks
• Setup and troubleshoot agriculture controls for ventilation, waste handling and grain/feed handling systems
• Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions
• Maintain a current knowledge of products, technology and models by participating in educational opportunities.
• Complete all work orders (including warranty information) and time sheets in a legible, accurate, and timely manner
• Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings
• Eligible for Overtime

Requirements
